Barbette's Feast has been catering for all aspects of weddings ensuring not only the smooth running of your day and the events leading up to it but also to give you peace of mind knowing that you and your guests will be well fed with delicious food and you won't have to lift a finger if you don't want to!  

 

With many happy brides a testament to our success in this area, we look forward to helping others celebrate be it the engagament party, the hen's, the kitchen tea, snacks for the bridal parties on the day of the wedding, nibbles after a ceremony or the entire wedding banquet including the cake.  Embracing our elegantly rustic style Barbette's Feast has a team who together can help make your day flow from start to finish.  From the celebrant, the stylist, photographer and more we work together to give you a memorable day for all the right reasons. 

 

Below are some sample menus (* minimum numbers may be required) including staff but please browse our catering menus for high teas and platters and of course we can tailor a menu to suit your requirements if you so choose.

OPTION 1: 

 

A mixture of hot and cold canapés to be taken around through the course of the event

 

  • Corn cakes with chorizo, avocado and prawns

  • Mini cauliflower muffin with smoked salmon and creme fraische

  • Sushi and nori rolls

  • Slow roasted tomato and feta tarts

  • Mushroom and spinach rice balls

  • Macadamia and coconut chicken skewers with mango mayonnaise

  • Mini wasabi beef pies

  • pulled pork with coleslaw, BBQ sauce and grilled pineapple on a mini milk bun

  • Gazpacho with garlic cracker

 

  • Bento bowl with butter chicken, rice, raita and pappadum or roasted pumpkin and goat’s cheese risotto

 

$65 per person for the above menu

OPTION 2: 

 

Nibbles on arrival:

  • corn cakes with avocado, bacon and prawns

  • mushroom and spinach rice balls

  • corn crisps with mexican crab salad and avocado crema

 

Entree selection:

  • chilli crab and prawn tartlet

  • slow roasted tomato and feta tart

  • caprese salad with buffalo mozzarella, avocado and crispy proscuitto

  • mini seafood plate with smoked salmon, oysters and prawns with marie rose sauce (add $10)

  • moroccan lamb filo with pomegranate molasses

  • stuffed mushroom with herb baked ricotta and parmesan with greens

  • ocean trout salad with avocado and asian flavours

  • individual antipasto plates

 

Plated Main selection includes bread roll with butter:

  • baked salmon fillet with brown rice and roasted vegetable salad

  • lamb fillet with honeyed carrot mash and cauliflower schnitzel

  • chicken breast fillet wrapped in proscuitto with fresh tomato sauce, mashed potato and green beans

  • beef fillet with mushroom risotto and jus

  • slow cooked brisket with parsnip mash and parsley sauce

 

Dessert selection all served with vanilla bean ice cream

  • rhubarb and strawberry crumble

  • sticky date pudding with toffee sauce

  • apple and rosemary tart with salted caramel sauce

  • chocolate mousse with berry coulis

  • rolled raspberry and toasted coconut pavlova with raspberry coulis 

 

$92: choose two entrees, two mains and one dessert with entrees and mains as alternate service

$99: choose two entrees, two main and two desserts all for alternate service and includes a garden salad on the table to share

OPTION 3: 

 

Canapes as entree:

  • corn cakes with avocado, bacon and prawns

  • roasted pumpkin and goat cheese rice balls

  • mini chicken and leek pies with mayo

  • gazpacho with garlic cracker

  • salmon and avocado mini sushi rolls

 

Buffet main selection on each table:

  • baked salmon fillet on nicoise salad

  • beef fillet on thai beef salad

  • chicken breast fillet on rocket salad with roasted pumpkin and grapefruit

  • lamb fillet on salad of roasted vegetables with feta and parsley

  • salmon fillet in thai marinade on jasmine rice

  • Morroccan chicken with roasted vegetable cous cous

 

Dessert selection all served with vanilla bean ice cream
